1.	New Clients in 2009
	HKA is proud to have added excellent companies to its client roster in 2009. The list includes primarily regular, ongoing clients, plus a few who utilize HKA services for projects. 2.	New HKA Team Members in 2009
	The HKA team has expanded in 2009. The excellent additions include: Anika Ramirez, Assistant PR Specialist; Mari Feazel, PR Coordinator; Nicole Cross, PR Coordinator; and LaDonna Oberholtzer, Administrative Assistant. We all agree – each one has been a terrific hire!
3.	Victory at Protos 2009
	The HKA team was victorious at the annual industry competition in June, the Public Relations Society of America-OC Chapter PROTOS competition. HKA entered 6 entries and came home with 5 awards – a first-place PROTOS statue and four Awards of Excellence. Award-winning work this year was done for clients: Farmers & Merchants Bank, Susan G. Komen for the Cure/OC Affiliate and O’Connor Mortuary. Way to go team!

5.	Ruby’s Raiders Another Success in 2009
	Ruby’s Raiders, the team that HKA fields each year to walk and raise money in the MS Walk in OC, had another stellar outing this year. We had almost 40 Ruby’s Raiders walking with us on the course at UCI and altogether, our donation to the MS Society was close to $8,000. This is such an important cause, that touches so many people, we are thrilled to continue contributing to this cause, in memory of Hilary’s mom, Ruby, and the many other families who continue to suffer with this disease. The 2010 MS Walk is April 10th - More Coming!!

6.	Hilary added to columnists at WomenEntrepreneur.com
	HKA President Hilary Kaye was added to the WomenEntrepreneur.com list of columnists this year, providing insights to entrepreneurs on topics related to Public Relations. The column, PR Like a PRO, is found at www.WomenEntrepreneur.com. Check it out!
7.	Ethics in America Award in 2008
	Hilary is proud to have received the Pillar Award in Business as part of the 2008 Ethics in America program. Hilary received the award at The Grove in Anaheim at a spectacular event that featured Dennis Prager as the national honoree and keynote speaker. Three other OC recipients were honored along with Hilary: Augie Nieto, Erin Gruwell and John Speraw. This was truly an honor to be remembered!
